yes you can..there is no such rule to take your degree optionals ok...but when it comes for scince you have to take the scince subjects only as main optional..ok

You mean can you get a M.A. in Psychology without first getting a B.A. in Psychology. You can but you usually have to demonstrate basic knowledge in Psychology first. Check with specific grad programs.

What are my job options for a Master's in Psychology?
How much would I make? I also graduate high school in 2012, so things will change. Those of you who have a degree, please identify what subject and your job. Thanks!

My guess would be a "psychologist"

With a Master's in Psychology you can be a Case Study worker or a college teacher. Even though those are only two options they are good paying jobs. It will vary from state to state the salary and also 2012+ is way into the future.

G'day, Some may argue that the university belongs to The Group of 8 (www.go8.edu.au) are the 'famous' one. However they group was formed just to unify the promotional effort. The members cannot claim that they are the best at everything that they offers. There are only 42 (soon to be 43) universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and they are tightly regulated, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The most important thing is you have to READ the course information carefully, since some courses may have the same name but different content. I suggest you to go to the online database below. It can show you which universities offer the area of study and their website. Once visited the website, please make sure that you access the information for international students, since some requirements, application form and fees are different than Australians'. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification. Depending on your country of origin, you may also need to submit an IELTS test results for proof of your English proficiency (www.ielts.org) Living cost... Sydney and Canberra have the highest living cost, followed by Melbourne & Brisbane, then Perth, Darwin, Adelaide & Tasmania the lowest. I am attaching a weblink from one of the uni in Melbourne as an indication. So with many options for your to choose, this is my suggestion to narrow down your choice: 1. Choose the city you want to study in. The consideration maybe the lifestyle, living cost and weather. 2. Find the area that you want to work/career in. Check if the uni's are offering the area. There are plenty of schools out there that offer masters in psychology. First, you have to narrow down what you want your degree in. Developmental, organizational, cognitive, experimental, counseling, neurophysiology, etc. Once you know what field you want to study you can do a search for what schools offer which programs. You will probably need to take the GRE for admission to graduate school. Also since your major wasn't psychology in undergrad you will probably have to take some psychology classes to meet prerequisites for the graduate courses. The courses needed will vary depending on the program. You may want to look at the American Psychological Association web site (www.apa.org) for more information on the fields of psychology. They also have a division for psychology graduate students that you might find interesting.
