Is psychology a good field to go into

Is psychology a good field to go into?
I love the subject overall! I want to do a Master in Psychology and was wondering if that field is a good, strong field there are so many people majoring in it I dont want it to be something that becomes a downfall in the future because of its popularity...also what field of psychology is the most beneficial to go into?? That has the highest pay? A person with a Master in Psychology whats their average salary?
